ANDREA ALEXANDER, FOUNDER
As a life-long resident of Loudoun County, Andrea has been involved in youth sports as a player, coach and mom of two boys. During this time, she personally experienced the rising costs of youth sports and witnessed numerous kids being left out due to lack of financial support or equipment. Glory Days Live was created to provide an opportunity for every child in Loudoun to be able to participate in athletic activities. Andrea oversees the various programs and initiatives of Glory Days Live to ensure those in need are getting the support necessary to fully participate in youth sports. Mrs. Donna Celio has been a marketing teacher/coordinator in Loudoun County Public Schools since 1994. Mrs. Celio previously taught at Stone Bridge High School for 16 years and Broad Run High School for 6 before joining Riverside High School in 2016. She has experience teaching various marketing courses offered at the high school level. In addition, Mrs. Celio is a school store supervisor, a DECA Advisor, and CTE Department Chair during her tenure. In 2008 she was named Virginia Association of Marketing Educators Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Celio is civic minded and has planned, organized, implemented many community service projects through her DECA chapters.
As the mother of three boys who were very involved in school sports in their youth, Janice understands the need for the assistance that Glory Days Live provides to the community. Janice brings an event planning and promotion background to the organization, along with a strong belief that every child should be given the opportunity to play and excel in team sports no matter what their home environment may be. Janice has also served many different volunteer organizations in our community including Blue Ridge Hospice and Loudoun Interfaith Relief.
Susie Howard has lived in Loudoun County for nearly 20 years and been actively involved with youth sports supporting her three boys. Susie currently serves as a Parent Liaison for Loudoun County Public Schools and supports Glory Days Live as a point of contact with the schools and other Parent Liaisons to assist in identifying kids in need.
Denny Petrella is a life-long resident of Loudoun County and the owner of Cheers Sports, Inc. Denny has spent countless hours supporting the needs of youth sports in Loudoun County. As a member of the Board, he's able to significantly contribute to supporting the organization on many levels. Denny assists with partnerships, equipment drives, and we are proud to say that Cheers Sports is a founding partner of Glory Days Live. After his son, Joe, was born 12 weeks early and weighed only 1.5 pounds, Denny created Team Joe Charities in 2007 to raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children.
Andy Stromberg is the Managing Partner at Dulles Golf Center and Sports Park. Also a resident of Loudoun, Andy has supported youth sports for many years in numerous capacities. As a member of the Board, he assists with corporate sponsors, fundraising and creating partnerships with other organizations in our area.
